Current News - Updated 2/23 at 9:00 PM:

Our next practice will be Monday at 6:00.

Boys U-11 Squad:

The squad has been split into 2 teams. You can see our Team Roster page for specifics of each team.

Practice Jerseys:

For those that played with us this last fall, you should already have your green and white practice jerseys. Please bring those to practice.  We'll be using those for scrimmages throughout the season.  For the rest of the players who didn't get a chance to pick up a practice jersey already, we have new green and white practice jerseys available which will be distributed at our next practice.  The cost of a new practice jersey is $12 (there's no mark up).

Game Uniforms:

The game uniforms are expected to arrive this week.  When we receive the final date, we'll pass that along.

Volunteers:

Our first games are upon us as of 3/1.  Thus, we need to get our Team Moms engaged with scheduling coverage of drinks and snacks for each game.  Naturally, we need a Team Mom for each team so please step forward and contact your head coach if you can help us out.  We'll also need to have parents perform other duties such as the sideline manager role, keeping score and time, placing balls along the endlines at home games, etc.  Even the coaches are volunteers, so please be willing to help out.

Equipment:

We've had a number of instances of players showing up to practice without all of their equipment.  Please understand that we have to take a hard stance about this - both for their safety and for them to learn individual responsibility.  If a player doesn't have all of their equipment, they won't get to play.  The more it happens at practice, the more likely it will happen during a game when it really counts.

Practice, Practice, Practice:

We cannot emphasise this enough.  Players need to practice when their at home and generally whenever they are not at practice.  Their stick skill abilities are a function of how much time they spend working with it.  The more they work with it off the field, the more successful they'll be as a player and the more succussful we'll be as a team!  Please encourage your players to practice at home.  Also, see the note immediately below.

Skills and Drills:

Please let your players have a look at the videos available on our website.  They're avaiable at the bottom or the Programs page.  They cover numerous topics from basics of the game to some advanced skills, drills, and techniques.

Game Schedules:

The game schedules were received on 2/21.  Have a look at our U-11 Calendar page and the U-11 Team Roster page to view the details.
